Have you
ever thought about everlasting life? Most of us have sometimes
when we take a few moments of reflection. That is quite normal for every
human being to reflect a little about this life and eventually the life
beyond. What if the religious Jesus-believers have a little grain of truth?
What if Jesus really is the son of God, and the chosen one to whom we must
trust for the next life? Maybe there is a small possibility of truth when he
says that he is the way, the truth and the life? (John 14, 6).
What is to gain and what is to loose?
Jesus have given his followers the most clear promises in this matter, there
is no room for misunderstanding. Just take a look here in John chapter 4,
14: but whoever drinks the water I give him will never
thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a spring of water
welling up to eternal life.
And we look further in the next chapter, John 5,24
"I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and
believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned;
he has crossed over from death to life.
And also in the following chapter: John 6,40 For my
Father's will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him
shall have eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day."
Chapter 10: John 10,28 I give them eternal
life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my
hand.
And the most well known of them all: John 3,16
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only begotten Son, that
whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
Many more scriptures could have been
mentioned, but the truth in what John have written about Jesus,
are beyond every reasonably doubt. He really can save and give us all
everlasting life. No one else can give you such overwhelming promises. Taste
it: Everlasting life, wow! It's nearly unbelievable, but Jesus would not
lie about a thing like that, not ever. Jesus never told any lies.
Jesus loves you, whoever you are. He can
forgive every sin and give you a whole new meaning with your life to day,
and of course the promised everlasting life in heaven: No more sin, no more
sorrow, no more poverty, no more thirst. Together with our loved ones in
wonderful peace and harmony, without any reach of the evil power in this
world, and of course, Jesus is there
together with the angels and all the saints we have heard of.

have ever regretted, I have not, and I know I never will:
Prayer of salvation
