If
the Bible answers yes to this question, the old Book cannot give
any warning about judgement upon the act of homosexuality. The fact is
however that the whole Bible gives very clear expressions of what opinion
the Creator has.
I can mention the true story about the terrible judgement
upon Sodom and Gomorrah. The sin of homosexuality was so great and with
such grave consequences, that God decided to let fire and brimstone fall
upon both cities.
There were several reasons for this judgement. : When
God created our first parents, the Bible says that he created them to be a
man and a woman, not two men only or two women only .
The will of God is
that only one man and one woman shall live together in sexual intercourse.
If the sin of homosexuality just goes on and on in this
world today, the countries will die of lack of new babies.
The sexual act between two of the same sex is a sin
against nature.
The Old Testament has a lot to
say about this unnatural lifestyle. F.ex. Leviticus 18.ch. and
22. verse:
"You shall not lie with a male as one lies with a
female. It is an abomination."
1. King. 14;24: "And there were also male cult
prostitutions in the land. They did all the abomination of the nations
which the Lord dispossessed before the sons of Israel."
And then we use some verses from the
New Testament:
The Letter to the Romans, 1.ch. 24. 26 and 27 verses.:
Therefore God gave them over in the lusts of their
hearts to impurity, that their bodies might be dishonoured among them.
"For this reason God gave them over to degrading
passions for their woman exchanged the natural function for that which is
unnatural."
"and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural
function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, men
with men committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the
due penalty of their error."
28 .verse. "And just as they did not see fit to
acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do
those things which are not proper."
29.verse: "being filled with all unrighteousness,
wickedness, greed, evil, full of envy, murder , strife, deceit malice
etcetera."
I know that the problem of
homosexuality is discussed both inside and outside the christian
church. If the leaders of the church do not believe in an inspired Bible,
they really have a big problem with the above scriptureverses.
I believe that every word, every portion of the Bible is
the truth and but the truth, because the whole Scripture is inspired of the
Holy Spirit, who is the Spirit of truth.
I will at last repeat
and give a list of the strong words that the Bible uses against this evil
act.:
Abomination, impurity, to dishonour, a lie, serve the
creature and not the Creator. , degrading passions, change the natural
for the unnatural, burn in desire toward one another, men with men
committing indecent acts, error, not fit to acknowledge God. Depraved
mind. Which are not proper."
The Bible uses very strong words
to explain the sinfulness of these acts.
If you are practicing homosexuality, and wish to be
free, I will tell you it is power in the blood of Jesus to set you free.
God is more than willing to forgive you yours sins when you confess them before him in prayer. God is faithful and righteous. He forgives you. He cleanses you. He writes your name in the book of Life, and you are ready to enter into heaven. Yes, it is power in the love of Jesus. Receive him and you are free!!
